today was Sports Day and it went well... until after lunch when there was lightning and thunder, shortly followed by pouring rain. they tried to keep going in the rain at first, but then the rain got worse and the rest had to be postponed till thursday afternoon. :[ i may or may not get to see the rest on thursday, not sure.. we`ll see ( Read more... )

teaching math to 6th years at Godaisan ES today went alright, although they were more disruptive than my previous 6th year classes. they were also reluctant to answer questions aloud, but i don't know if that was because of the english aspect of the class or because of the math. teaching 4th years colors went as well as expected. 4th years are nice ( Read more... )

woke up this morning and the sky looked horrible. then i had my magical instant oatmeal and things were a little better as i went off to work. it rained on and off all day, pouring like mad at random times but luckily never when i had to be out in it. i ended up doing a self-introduction lesson to another 3rd year class and helped out two 2nd year ( Read more... )
